ABOUT BAD INFINITY
Bad Infinity: Selected Writings looks to artworks and various intersections of media circulation to examine the ways in which they carry racism and misogyny. Some of my favorite essays are “ Trauma and Virtuality” and “Poor Meme, Rich Meme” (the latter in reference to this essay by Hito Steyerl - also worth a read.)
Join me as we read and deep dive into texts about media, representation, gender, and race. Learning is best in dialogue with others - esp conversation in which we use works as a launching point to challenge each other and ourselves.
We will meet about once/month via ZOOM, and one meeting every few months AFK so that we can gather with our bodyodyodies.
